New Leaders Foundation intro video

The New Leaders Foundation is a non-profit organisation that was set up by a guy who’s passionately trying to improve the education system in Gauteng. Giles works closely with GDE’s administrators and leaders as well as with principals and teachers to help them become better leaders. The idea is that helping people better understand how to deal with each other and be better leaders will filter down and positively affect learners in terms of their motivation, grades and general school experience.

I shot and edited this video to form an introduction into a fundraising video in which Giles explains the role of NLF and what they do.

The brief was to create a video in which a teacher is dreaming about the perfect school environment but instead wakes up to the reality of a school in distress, abandoned and desolate. We used actual teachers and learners from one of the schools Giles is involved with for this video.
