Banditos

Nigel Babb, who is one of my oldest clients, designed the original Banditos logo and look and feel way back in the day. Banditos finally decided to update the product labels in 2009 and we spent a good couple of months working on these.

Once again, I was supplied with illustrated elements from Nigel which I composited and coloured. Each variant had a label of it’s own, with slightly different colours to help set it apart from the others. We decided we wanted a handcrafted look, and I did all the painting in Photoshop.

I see the new products have started hitting the shelves over the last couple of months, and their sauces are just awesome. My favourites are the Pickled Jalapeños and the Habanero sauce which is about as hot as anything I’ve ever tasted. I add about half a teaspoon to a dish to give it a proper zing…
